SUMMARY
Math is evident to be useful in every area of life, even little things such as throwing a football or bigger tasks such as building a baseball diamond. All areas and subjects of math are covered in specific sports; for example, probability and angles are used even though the sport looks so effortless. Speed and accuracy are probably the most important characteristics of any sport and with the level of skill some players possess brings no problems.
Sports are huge parts of American’s lives and some people cannot live without them. The pure intensity and competitiveness keep people entertained; especially with all the talented athletes in this country. Some of the greatest to ever play sports are geniuses mainly because it’s not just dribbling a ball or running for fun, there is math involved behind the scenes and constant practice only makes the game more interesting. A great example of a brilliant athlete would be Kobe Bryant. Along with being one of the best basketball players in the world, he's extremely intelligent as a scorer and knows all the angles and logistics of scoring from just about anywhere within half-court. He's one of the most feared scorers in league history because of how smart he can be on offense. He has not gained that experience just by playing the game, he studies the math and how the game works and implements it into his skill. No matter what sport it is there is some type of math involved, just don’t judge a book by its cover. Kobe applies mathematics to his game and his stats are some of any basketball player.
